Clarity is a raw and gritty romantic thriller that beautifully highlight what we easily forget from day to day. People are not always what they seem, and too often we find a hideous evil cloaked behind a benign and appealing face or touch. The goodness in this world is often hard to catalog and even harder to behold with any certainty. The only thing we are left to do is to take a chance, and pray like mad that we haven’t blindly given the devil the key to our very soul. In contrast when we find a piece of pure and unadulterated Heaven, all we can ever do is open our arms and heart to it and cherish every second we have it in our grasp.

This book is a testament to the determination of the human spirit to thrive and truly live despite having its wings clipped by insidious intent. Nothing encourages human beings then to watch another be knocked down and find the will to stand back up and continue searching for the light of hope and the strength of love. While this can be a difficult read at times, I found that is never failed to encourage and whisper calming sentiments to my heart. The characters were wonderfully complex and held my attention captive every step of the way. There was truly never a dull moment to be found. Fighting to reclaim the tatters of her life, we watch as Helen/Winter blossoms into a beautiful and challenging woman who calls only the most pure to her shattered heart who never fail to color her world in every vibrant emotion and experience that we often take for granted.

Beyond any doubt, this is a series that you will not soon forget. It will crawl under your skin and burrow itself into your soul. You will feel its very soul as it weighs on you like a veil that is begging to lifted and yet leaves its own quiet scars behind. Never underestimate the effect that you have on the lives of those around you. Your actions and words shape their world in either a positive or a destructive way, so please remember that what you send out into the world will be returned to you and then magnified as it is reflected back. Send out love and peace and hope, and then sit back and watch it returned to you in ways you could never imagine.
