I liked the ending and watching Arthur and his family recover from the loss of a troubled loved one. The characterization is strong and the chapters do a great job of ending on cliffhangers which makes this a book that's tough to put down once you pick it up.

When a grieving teen acts out an injures the neighborhood junk man, his punishment is to work for the man. Arthur is saved from juvie by the Junk Man himself. Now he has 120 hours of service to perform. The man gives Arthur a list of the Seven Important Things that he is to find-in the trash. What Arthur doesn't know is the Junk Man is an artist and the seven important things are his materials. This is such a wonderful and important book!
