Very rarely do I dislike anything about this series and this book definitely do not disappoint, even though it took me ages to get through (no fault of the book's or author's though, just lack of reading time!). If you have managed to read up to book 9 in this series, then you should have a pretty good idea who and what this series is all about, so no need to elaborate!
In this one Jane has the biggest enemy to fight that she has ever experienced. Many secrets are revealed, friends become not-so-much friends, other friends become family and Beast is a bit naughty! Jane was definitely on a huge guilt trip for lots of this book, understandably so, but not everything that happens with the Mithrans and in New Orleans is all down to Jane to fix. I really didn't understand why the Mithrans couldn't have helped her out a bit more with this Big Bad - we know they always have a way to skirt around the truth and their politics, so I thought they would have been able to do more, rather than it being down to Jane, Bruiser, Alex, Eli, Molly and a few other witches!
Anyway, I loved it! As always!
