This is the second book in the Wells and Wong Mystery series and it's even better than the first book! I love how different Daisy and Hazel are in their personalities, very Sherlock and Watson. I really enjoy the time period these are set in, I'm thinking it's around the 1940's, filled with traditionally British things like afternoon tea, weird relatives, and owning your own family manor house. You just can't help but be drawn in by the fabulous characters and the whodunnit plot. This time the girls not only have to find out who the murderer is, but they also have to really consider their own moral compass as they consider who it could be. This is definitely a series I'm going to be reading more from as Stephens goes from strength to strength with her two mystery solvers!

I enjoyed the first book, but not enough to continue with the series. I love that the books contain a map at the start. I also like the friendship between the two characters. I was a bit disappointed the story wasn't set at the school.
