A really useful set of resources for bookclubs. I like that it’s a fun pack with games and printables, along with the typical interview with the author and a set of questions for discussion after reading the book. I wish more publishers would provide this type of pack for bookclubs. My bookclub members write their own questions, but it’s always a really nice thing to have a list of publisher questions to mix and match with our own.

This was very helpful and added much to group discussions with Marvel and Lisa fans alike.
Mostly in helping other who would otherwise not give the initial Breaking the Dark an opportunity

Such a fun book club kit! I also won this book from Goodreads, so I think the stars really aligned for this one. Can’t wait to set a date with my bookish friends and dive in. Love this author, super excited for what’s ahead!

Thank you We Are Bookish for putting together this kit for Breaking the Dark by Lisa Jewell. This book club kit was well thought out and put together. It includes an author interview and questions to make the book club meeting a full fledged event! I appreciated that it included information on the author, other books by her/the publisher, and suggestions for books to read if you enjoyed this one.

This was a great foundation for a book club! I hadn't ever read something like this before and will be looking for them in the future.
I love how it is sort of a map for the club meeting, and could even be given to the members. It included an author interview with Lisa Jewell and I thought the interview questions were excellent. It also included questions for book club - a couple were really thought provoking, ideas for snacks and drinks that are related to the story, and best of all in my opinion: suggestions on what to read next!
I’d definitely be interested in a book club kit like this for other books and will be on the lookout for them in the future.

As a Marvel fan, I was definitely interested in Breaking the Dark. This book club kit is complete with discussion questions, suggested next books, ideas for themed parties and suggestions for food and drinks. Another great book club kit!
Thanks NetGalley!

Our book club was absolutely captivated by Breaking The Dark—Lisa Jewell has once again delivered a twisty, gripping, and emotionally layered story that sparked endless conversation. But what truly elevated our reading experience this time around was the incredible book club guide that accompanied it.
This guide was not only thoughtfully organized and beautifully presented, but it also went far beyond what we usually expect. The discussion questions were deep and thought-provoking, helping us peel back layers of character motivation, plot development, and hidden themes we may have missed on our own. We were especially impressed by the unique extras included—behind-the-scenes author insights, character backstories, and even themed prompts and activities that brought the book to life in an immersive way.
It felt like we had access to insider knowledge that made the entire experience richer and more connected. These kinds of additions are so rare in book club guides, and we truly appreciated the time and care put into it.

This is a very interactive book. I definitely love it as well as the games and bookmarks inside of it.

This is a great addition to take to book club while reading Breaking the Dark. I really loved the book marks, they're so cute! There's also a space to write your thoughts, read an interview with Lisa Jewell, cross words, recipes. I'm so excited to use this to host our book club!
I really hope there are more book club kits in future. Thank you so much.

I love how this gives other picks similar to this one and refers you to read other offers. This is a great setup for those who love this title and want to find more books like it where you will get the same experience! Very insightful and I love this. I wish we could find more resources like this out there.
