Like the third book, this was such a quick, fun read for me. Everyone loves a classic rivals/enemies-to-lovers (and if you don't, who hurt you?), which is also one of my favorite tropes. I feel like this one was well done. An added bonus is the trope of the MMC sleeping around and then being totally smitten with the love interest. That one never gets old for me, either. Plus this whole series is filled with touch-her-and-die, which is another classic but I'm not mad about it. It's a combo that works. and it popular for a reason.

I do wish it was a little bit longer. I'd love to see the relationships in this series take a little bit longer to develop, but I've really enjoyed it regardless.

I listened to the audiobook and the way the narrators captured the essence of these characters is fantastic. Paulina and Dante are thrust into an arranged marriage despite being from different mafias and the sparks between them fly. I felt the emotion as they gradually took down their walls and the result is a beautiful love story that had me smiling. I'm sorry this is the last book in this series and I really loved the time spent at Sicuro Academy.
