Another wonderful entry in the historical mystery series Sebastian St. Cyr, an intriguing story where Sebastian has to investigate the murder/decapitation and stabbing of Stanley Presto, a wealthy plantation owner.
Someone mentioned that the series is cozy, but I found it quite hard, gruesome and brutal at times, so it's a serious Regency historical mystery with a ton of heart-stopping action (like when they realize that Charles' coffin has no head and they have to find it before the king takes notices anything.
Overall, a great book in a great historical series that is well worth reading from the first book to the last.
