Sinful is the ninth novel in the Bitter Creek series. While best to read them in order to fully grasp the foundation of these families and how they fit together, new readers won’t have too much of a struggle keeping up. Johnston does a wonderful job of tugging on some emotional heartstrings while simultaneously developing a fiery passion. Connor and Eve are lovable characters who fight hard for their happily ever after.

This is book nine in the Bitter Creek series and it features Connor Flynn and Eve Grayhawk. This is such a brilliant story line! I could’ve never guessed some of the twist and turns this story took. The feud between these two families is CRAZY! The serious and not so serious pranks were unbelievable. Connor and Eve have had chemistry since high school but he married her best friend. Now, they both need something from each other.

Brilliant writing! The story line had great flow and the characters were amazing. This author has a way of writing that not only includes the main character and their story but includes the entirety of both families. I can’t wait to read the next book.
