It's a fast, spicy read.

Ella is on a trip to Lake Como to celebrate her cousin's wedding. The night before, the girls go out to a club and Ella has a one night stand with a handsome stranger. Only to find out he's part of the wealthiest family and trouble.

Thank you to NetGalley, the author and publisher for a temporary, digital ARC in return for my review.

Ella is on a five day trip to Italy for her cousin's wedding, The night before the wedding the girls head out to one of the hottest clubs in town. There Ella leaves with Roman, a man who she just met. This is something that Ella has never done before. Ella then finds out that Roman is part of one of the largest crime family in Italy. This is a very quick read that is spicy from the start. I would like to thank both NetGalley for letting me read this book.

Kiva Hart delivers a romantic, atmospheric escape in *That One Night in Lake Como*—a story that perfectly blends longing, second chances, and the undeniable magic of a single unforgettable night.

Set against the dreamy backdrop of Lake Como, the setting itself feels like a character—lush, elegant, and utterly transportive. Hart’s writing is vivid and immersive, making it easy to get swept up in the story’s luxurious, sun-drenched charm.

The romance is heartfelt and slow-burning, with just the right amount of tension and vulnerability. The characters have a deep emotional pull, and their connection feels genuine—rooted in both passion and a shared past that still lingers just beneath the surface.

While a few plot turns felt slightly predictable, the emotional payoff is well worth it. Hart strikes a lovely balance between escapist fantasy and real, relatable emotion. It’s a book that lingers in your mind like the memory of a perfect summer night.

If you love second-chance stories, scenic European settings, and a touch of bittersweet romance wrapped in beauty and heart, this one’s absolutely worth the read.
