Oh my God, this book had me hooked from the very first sentence. I loved how it seamlessly shifted between characters, weaving their individual stories together in such a powerful way. The ending brought everything full circle and concluded with the most beautiful, satisfying twist. I’m officially reading every single book Noelle ever writes. This one tells the haunting and unforgettable story of the victims of a serial killer—told by them after their deaths.

Ask For Andrea was a very haunting story.

Told from the perspective of three dead women, as they try and bring their killer to justice.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story and was absolutely captivated with the writing and storyline. I didn’t really know what to expect but I was hooked from the beginning and really felt for the characters. Reading the story through the eyes of the victim, after the fact, is really interesting and I will definitely be looking to read more of Noelles stories!

2.5 stars | This wasn't a bad read but it was majorly hyped up all over bookstagram / booktok. I knew I probably wouldn't feel the same way but you don't know unless you try. This just wasn't it for me.

The book was fine. It was pretty middle of the road, but I was just bored. There are three main characters who all feel exactly the same and there's not much different about them. It also doesn't help that the audiobook only had one narrator and all of these are in first person POV. They all sounded exactly the same and felt exactly the same. I couldn't keep track of who was telling the story at what time and they all blended together.

The plot for me was pretty blah. We get a little intro how these girls were killed, then they're following their murderer around and haunting him, basically, but this goes on for 70% of the book and then other things start to kick in. It was too little, too late.

The writing was just fine. It felt very average, nothing to wow me or pull me in. The characters didn't have much to them. The plot was okay. This was just a very blah kind of read for me. Oh well.

I'll admit, I often judge a book by its cover, and Ask for Andrea by Noelle West Ihli immediately captivated me. What I loved even more is that the striking cover art isn't just for show – it beautifully relates to and symbolizes a significant element of one of the central characters' stories.

This is a ghost story unlike any I've encountered. Forget your typical hauntings; Ihli offers a unique and compelling narrative by giving voice to the three women the MMC murdered: Brecia, Meghan, and Skye. We witness their individual stories unfold, and the fact that Brecia has been haunting her killer since her death is absolutely brilliant. Their journey towards justice and peace is the gripping heart of this novel.

Overall, Ask for Andrea is a fast-paced and thoroughly enjoyable thriller. It delivered a twist I genuinely didn't see coming, and the ending felt perfectly executed. This is a book I wholeheartedly recommend, and I'll be proud to feature it in my bookstore, I am excited for the deluxe edition to be released as well!

Beware those dating apps!

Haunting mystery thriller with an unusual twist.

Three women who have something in common: Brecia Collier, Meghan Campbell, and Skye Rios — they all went out with the same handsome, charming man who found them on the app MatchStrike.
He killed them. Now dead, they will spend every effort to hunt him down and make him pay.

Told from the alternating points of view of the different women, the narrative hits a bit differently because the women are all dead. Normally I don’t go for this sort of paranormal beyond the grave business, but I did like the way this was written and I relished it. Very fast paced, I read it in one sitting as I turned the pages rapidly hoping for a satisfying conclusion.

I was able to listen to the audio book while also following along in the e-book ARC. The narrator, Allison Delaney, did an excellent job of voicing the characters and I thoroughly delighted in her dramatic flair. Definitely enhanced my appreciation and enjoyment of the book as the production was very well done.

I also found a link at the back of the book to a short story that explains what happens to April, the wife of James Carson, the MatchStrike Killer. It was free on Instagram.

This title is one of my favorites by this author! This story is full of emotion and makes you wonder if it could be “true from the afterlife” It gives the insight of how one misses their families and thinks of them after they’re gone. I missed out on reading this book when it initially came out so I'm so excited to get to read the special deluxe copy. It was so good all of her books are spectacular and this one did not disappoint.

Ask for Andrea by new to me author Noelle W. Ihli, published by Kensington Publishing. I read the blurb and the reviews and was really intrigued. But soon I learned this book just wasn't for me I tortured myself through the book, I mean who loves to quit, but I just couldn't.

If you want a thriller that’s chilling and unique, Ask for Andrea is a must read! The story centers around Meghan, Brecia, and Skye, who share a tragic connection in that they were all murdered by the same charming predator. But death doesn’t silence them, and together they form an alliance in the afterlife. This ghostly POV adds a twist to the thriller genre while blending suspense and the supernatural. I couldn’t put this one down!

A quick and twisty thriller. I enjoyed it but was expecting more after reading Run on Red by the same author. I wanted a little more from the ending.

In this unique take on the serial killer trope, the victims of the killer do their best to keep him from harming anyone else. The spin is that these women are all dead. both a tragic portrayal of crimes against women and a fiercely feminist story of revenge, this book is impossible to put down.
