Starting with the immediate aftermath of a shooting at a Welsh hospital, the book uses multiple points of view and flips back and forth between timelines (before the shooting and day of the shooting) to bring everything together.

The plot was great, very twisty and intricate, and dealt with some complex issues. The suspense built right from the start and didn’t let up.

I really enjoyed the writing style. The sections from the shooter’s point of view were especially well done.

I’ll definitely be reading more of Emma Kavanagh’s books in future.

Multiple viewpoints including that of the shooter make this an interesting read. The switch in timelines is enjoyable as we open with the aftermath of the shooting before heading back in time for the countdown. Several sub-plots along the way make this an engaging read.

Good storyline, nice character development and was a pleasant read. Have enjoyed Emma Kavanagh's books and would recommend Hidden to friends and family.

This is told from different points of view including the shooter leading up to it.

I have to say how superbly this was as a plot, I certainly was astounded when I found out.

From the start, I have to say that I really did enjoy the plot of this story. While it isn't a new idea, it was certainly a fresh version of the theme. From the opening - or should I say, ending? - all the way through, this story unravelled quite nicely. So, from that perspective, it was a good book.

I also liked to the MC's - Aden and Imogen, in particular. However, Charlie does add a different view of the goings-on and that, at least, gives us a different viewpoint on the action.

However, two things lost me (and, as it turns out by reading the reviews, plenty of others): the multiple points of view and the shifting timeline. four POVs is quite a lot and, when combined with the ever-shifting timeline, it just started to get so confusing, I began to consider a DNF but I really thought the plot and characters were too good to give up on...

And I am glad I stuck with it - an enjoyable story and, if you don't mind MPOV's, then this should be right up your alley!
