This is a cute book about farting in front of your friends. I would have appreciated more humor in this book.

Very cute, quick bedtime book. Read this with my four year old tonight and he had a good case of the giggles. I love the very simplified way of telling it's ok to fart and still have friends. He loved the pictures as well!

Thank you for the ARC. I grew up on a dairy farm so I was excited to read this with my toddler. We loved the rhymes and the pictures. It was a silly story but had a wonderful lesson that everyone farts, haha. Too cute.

I love this book! I cannot wait to read it to my kindergarten students and my granddaughters.
Every kindergarten teacher has to have “the talk” with their students when a student “toots”:in class. This book will help reinforce that this is something that happens to everyone. The illustrations are cute and engaging. I also love the rhyming text in the book.

Really, the name of the book delivers the message. In other words, when bad things happen, just let it pass and carry on. For those who dance, or act, or publicly speak, or engage in any behavior for which there is an audience, sometimes you might "fart" or spit or your voice may break and it's all A OK. This is a fun book with a useful message. Encouraging and helpful and very human. Even if the protagonist is a cow!

This book had my daughter and I cracking up. It's a fun way to show you don't have to be embarrassed when something like a fart happens in front of people. Animals, toots, and dancing - what kid wouldn't like this book!? I gave it four stars because of the illustrations. They are definitely cute and showed the animals personalities but it was also distracting. You had the cow udders that were very prominent and then some of the side characters didn't feel consistent with their look. But none of that mattered to my daughter who giggled every time we read it - great job!

Missy Moo and The Great Fart Mishap is a hilariously wonderful story about dancing cows, unexpected toots, and the power of friendship. When Missy Moo’s moonwalking routine takes a gassy turn, she’s faced with embarrassment—but the other animals quickly show her that we’ve all had awkward moments. I really enjoyed reading this with my niece—we laughed out loud, and she loved the message that real friends stick with you, even when things get a little smelly.

Finally! A book that works to de-stigmatize farting!!! But, super fast, why does Missy Moo have so many extra teats on her udder? Aren't cows only supposed to have four? Anyways!...
This book is awesome! It's all very quirky, unique, and realistic. I know for certain that little kids will be able to relate to Missy Moo's story at some time in their lives, and this book teaches them what to do when that happens! The conclusion worked perfectly to both provide a moral AND seal the story off flawlessly. As for the plot, it made complete sense and allowed the entire book to flow smoothly, which is admirable. Lastly, the illustrations were awesome! The illustrator notably gave each and every character their own personality, using only colorful drawings to convey that (but again...why so many teats??). I especially loved seeing Missy's glamorous and fun sense of style. Bravo!!

Okay, I didn’t expect to laugh-snort my way through a kids’ book, but here we are! 🤣 Missy Moo is an absolute QUEEN of the barnyard—moonwalking her way into hearts until… pfffft! 💨 The Great Fart Mishap is SO relatable (who hasn’t had one of those moments?), and I love that it sneaks in a sweet lesson about friendship and owning your oopsies. If your kiddos love silly stories with big laughs and even bigger heart—this book is a must. 🐄💃💨😂

This story is so hilarious. Missy Moo loves dancing and she mooooves around the farm sharing her joy. When she accidentally lets loose a fart in front of everyone, she is so embarrassed. Happily, her friends let her know it can happen to anyone.
This is a good lesson about having perspective when something embarrassing happens. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
