Sarah Morgan and Bob Miller has been married for eleven years when Sarah files for divorce from Bob due to his one time infidelity. However Bob has an ace up his sleeve to get Sarah back. The cat and mouse chase between Sarah and Bob will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end and had me shouting I KNEW IT to my coworkers!. I want to thank both NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for letting me listen to an advanced copy of this audiobook.

It was definitely fun to revisit these characters. I re read the perfect marriage to prepare and familiarize myself with the first before starting this one so it was pretty fresh. I think this book does a great job of resuming (years later) from the first.

I can’t say I ever really rooted for Sarah. I think most of the characters were kind of unlikeable. But that didn’t bother me really. I just didn’t know who I wanted to pull through either. I think one twist I saw coming. Or really a large bit. But I enjoyed the story & how it progressed. I feel like JR writing has great improved from her first book. Both great! But I can tell she’s just gotten better. The plot was intricate and clever.

There was definitely a lot going on in this one which kept me interested throughout waiting to see how it would all come together.

The narration was great. The narrators easy to listen to. I love when it’s a multi narrator for diff POV.

The Perfect Divorce by Jeneva Rose is set eleven years after the events of the first book. Sarah has moved on from her last husband, Adam, and married Bob. But after Sarah caught Bob cheating with another woman, she wants a divorce. While all this is happening, the girl that Bob has gone missing and Bob and Sarah are the two prime suspects.
I enjoyed listening to the audiobook. I liked that this book had multiple POVS and that each character had a different voice throughout. The storyline is fast-paced and easy to digest. I was hesitant to start this book without rereading book 1, but once I went through the first 20% of the book, everything started to come together. Overall, I recommend listening to the audiobook, and if you haven't already done so, you should pick up the first book, The Perfect Marriage.

It’s been eleven years since ruthless power attorney Sarah Morgan defended her cheating husband against the charge of murdering his mistress. She lost that case and he’s been put to death. Oh well. Now she has a new husband and a daughter. But now this husband is a cheater, too. What to do, what to do.

You can easily enjoy this sequel to The Perfect Marriage on its own, but you’d get a much better understanding of the complicated and brilliant Sarah Morgan if you read the first book first. I just love twisty thrillers about psychotic women who will do whatever it takes to get what they want. And I mean whatever it takes.

The audiobook was narrated by a full cast and was excellent.

This is a gripping thriller that delves deep into the complexities of a marriage built on deceit and the dark recesses of human nature. The story revolves around Sarah and Bob, who in are the midst of a tumultuous and intricate divorce. Each chapter is written in first person told from that specific character's point of view, which I absolutely love!

From the outset, the author masterfully builds tension, weaving a narrative that keeps readers on the edge of their seats. Sarah and Bob's relationship is portrayed with such raw authenticity that it feels almost voyeuristic to witness their private struggles. The unraveling of their wickedness they experience is palpable, making it easy for readers to empathize with their plight.

As the plot progresses, the layers of deceit and manipulation become increasingly apparent. The author skillfully reveals the true nature of the characters, culminating in a shocking revelation that one partner is not just diabolical but sociopathic. This twist adds a chilling dimension to the story, leaving readers questioning the boundaries of trust and the depths of human depravity.

The pacing of "Perfect Divorce" is impeccable, with each chapter building upon the last, creating a crescendo of suspense that is both thrilling and unsettling. The author's ability to create complex characters and a compelling storyline is commendable, making this book a must-read for fans of psychological thrillers.

Twisty and juicy just like the first book and what readers have come to expect from Jeneva Rose! I wasn't sure where it was going to go at some parts, and I enjoyed how it played out.

The Perfect Divorce by Jeneva Rose is a sequel to the book The Perfect Marriage. The Perfect Divorce takes place 11 years after Sarah Morgan's husband, Adam was charged with murdering his mistress. Now Sarah has a family with her current husband, Bob Miller. He has stumbled down a familiar path as Adam when he is caught cheating. Sarah has filed for divorce. Although, history has a way of repeating and some things from the past might not be as easily put away as she thought.

Marcus Hudson, the new sheriff in town, is looking for the truth of what happened during Adam's case and the possibility that perhaps he wasn't the killer after all. When the woman that Bob Miller had the affair with goes missing eyes are everywhere to discover where this missing woman went and who was the one that abducted her.

Jeneva Rose does a fantastic job of weaving a web that keeps the reader guessing all the way to the end. The puzzle pieces fall into place perfectly making The Perfect Divorce a book that any reader that enjoys suspense will delight in.

Told in multiple POVs, this one was such a fun police procedural. The short chapters kept the pace moving, and I was constantly wondering what Sarah and Bob were going to do next. Sure, there were a few unbelievable moments here and there but I binged this one!! It’s one of those reads where you just have to know who’ll be the last one standing.
The narrators Mozhan Navabi, Andrew Eiden, Adam Lazarre-White, J. S. Arquin, Brittany Pressley, and Andi Arndt all brought something great to the table. But I have to say, Adam Lazarre-White’s voice is so smooth. I found myself genuinely looking forward to every scene he narrated. Just spellbinding.

I don't want to give away any plot twists because it is best to go into this one blind.

People who loved The Perfect Marriage will also love this one. It feels like we never left any of the familiar characters.

I loved the narration through most of the book. My only small qualm is that one of the characters who was trapped somewhere (again, don't want to give it away) was narrated in a muffled, almost whisper type voice. I kept having to adjust the volume because those chapters were not consistent with the rest and a little harder to understand. Other than that, the narration was fantastic.

The perfect divorce is an excellent sequel to perfect marriage. These characters are so multipliitive. They used every one including the reader for their plan. I do not recommend the audiobook, the narrators are not very good

This is one of those rare books where I thought that the sequel was actually better than the original! I couldn't stop listening/reading (I had the audio ARC, thank you NetGalley and the publisher!) as well as the ebook version, and I spent every free moment reading or listening. I absolutely loved the narrators, and the twists in this book kept me guessing. I knew from the first book not to trust ANYONE or anything and I just thought this was so well done!

The Perfect Divorce was the perfect sequel to the Perfect Marriage — I loved all the different POVs!!! The plot was so entertaining and I flew through this audiobook so fast. I just found out there will be a third book too and I literally can’t wait to see Sarah again!!

Geneva Rose delivers another fast-paced, twisty thriller in The Perfect Divorce. The story centers around a high-profile attorney, facing her own crumbling marriage just as she becomes entangled in a case that blurs the lines between personal and professional.
The characters, especially the protagonist, are flawed but compelling. If you enjoy domestic thrillers with moral grey areas and a strong female lead, this one’s for you. While some of the twists felt a little over-the-top, it was undeniably entertaining from start to finish.

Revisiting Perfect Marriage and diving into Perfect Divorce was an absolute treat. The sequel exceeded my expectations in every way. The drama and twists in Perfect Divorce were on another level, and I couldn't put it down once I started reading. It’s rare for a second book in a series to be even more captivating than the first, but this one definitely was.

The storyline was unpredictable, with a level of tension that kept me on edge throughout. The characters' growth and the complications in their relationships added so much depth to the plot, and there were moments where I honestly didn’t know what would happen next. The author’s ability to build suspense and deliver unexpected twists is truly impressive.

I don’t want to spoil anything, but Perfect Divorce is packed with more drama and surprises than I could have imagined. If you enjoyed the first book, this one will keep you hooked from start to finish. I’m already eagerly anticipating what will happen in the next book in the series.

This was exactly what I was looking for in terms of a domestic thriller. The plot was twisted in the right way, and the characters were developed adaquately for a fast read. This was just enough.

This story takes place eleven years after “The Perfect Marriage” (yes, that book is necessary to read either as this duet or as a standalone)

Sarah Morgan is back, more strategic and manipulative than ever.

Bob Miller is just as privileged as before.

The take on this story was so dark and twisted and incredibly entertaining. Multiple pov’s brought each character to life- I felt like I was really in their thoughts and it gave me whiplash.

The entire time I didn’t know who I sided with in Bob and Sarah’s divorce. Both were so secretive and so strategic in their plan. I was mindblown.

The way Jeneva intertwined the plot from book one into this book but made it not feel like a sequel but more as it’s own story was perfect. The plot of this was heavily based off of the end of “The Perfect Marriage” but she made this couple face the same, if not more trouble then the last. The problems they faced together and separate, the terror they caused on each other, trying to out think the other and come out on top was so incredibly well written.

I want to say so much more but I can’t until you guys read it! Make sure you read “The Perfect Marriage” first so nothing gets spoiled in this book. I loved it from beginning to end and simply could not stop listening.

This was one of the best books that I have read in a while and the sequel out does "The Perfect Marriage". Sarah Morgan does it again! This book held my interest and kept me entertained from start to finish. I would definitely read "The Perfect Marriage" before starting this book so you can make the connections.

Thank you to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for this free advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Another twisty, domestic suspense where everyone's motives are murky, there are lots of lies, scheming and unlikable characters but I couldn't put it down. Sure to satisfy fans of the first book but strong enough to standalone, this was EXCELLENT on audio with a full cast of narrators. Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early audio copy in exchange for my honest review!
