Thank you for the opportunity to read The Best of Both Rogues. Unfortunately, I did not complete my reading of the book before it was archived in August 2015. I do not plan to finish the book.

A fun, bawdy and humorous romp: The Best of Both Rogues was my introduction to a new historical romance writer that I will definitely seek out again.

The Best of Both Rogues is part of Samantha Grace’s Rival Rogues series. What came to mind over and over again while reading this novel was how sweet it was. Yes there was the prerequisite passion and subterfuge in abundance but the underlying sentiments that prevailed throughout this work were sweetness and kindness. Ms. Grace did a praiseworthy job of portraying the devastating effects of PTSD while still being able inject humor in her work without belittling the seriousness of the subject matter. This well constructed story was a lovely read.
