I received this book in exchange for an honest review which has not altered my opinion of the book.

I don’t review a lot of non-fiction in general, but this book was one that I personally could not pass up. Since I was diagnosed with ADHD in the 5th grade, so at the age of 10, I’ve run into roadblocks that have to do with the way that I learned and that I understood things. By roadblocks I mean I learned very differently than other people in school and that can be difficult for teachers to understand. I will say that this book interesting in that sense because I was able to hear the stories of others who had to deal with some of the same things that I did.

I think that this is a wonderful non-fiction book for those who are curious about the ADHD diagnosis. I would recommend this for both people with it and people without it. Dr. Archer does a wonderful job of explaining the diagnosis and the amazing and crazy differences that can come with each individual person. I did also listen to the audiobook for a bit, and it was a bit robotic, which took some getting used to. 4 out of 5 from me.
