Second-chance love at its crazy best! Beth Vogt is a master at wringing tears from the eyes and sleep from the soul in a tender love story that both heals and haunts.

The first book in Vogt’s new Destination Wedding series is enjoyable and entertaining. It’s fun to consider the questions the author poses. Heartfelt and relatable characters (who can make the reader a bit angry at their immature decisions at times!) add depth to the story.
EMT Vanessa Hollister and her physician fiancé are planning a destination wedding in Destin, Fla. Vanessa’s father was in the military, and she moved from place to place her entire life. Destin is the one place she felt at home, and it’s the place where she married her high school sweetheart, Logan, at 18. As she plans this wedding, she happens to run into Logan, a storm chaser who is coincidentally in Florida on vacation. Has God brought the two back together for a reason?

Wow! What a great read by Beth K. Vogt. This is my first read by this author but I can promise you I am going to be looking for more and anticipating them for sure! This is such a well written story and I love that it is a Destination Wedding series.

Vanessa is a paramedic and is engaged. This is not Vanessa's first go with being married though. When Vanessa was younger she made what her mom called, "the worst mistake of her life" and eloped to Logan. Vanessa was a military brat and was looking for something to help her not be the new kid in town for once when she eloped to Logan. Logan was a storm chaser and their short marriage ended 8 years ago in a divorce.

Vanessa is now engaged to Ted. Ted wants to combine a medical convention with their wedding and make it a destination wedding in Destin. Vanessa is not too happy about this idea but she decides to give in. Destin is where Vanessa and Logan were together, but there is slim chance of her running into him there now, right?

With Logan having just had an accident, he is back home in Destin visiting family and trying to decide what he is going to do with his storm chasing business. When a storm comes their way, Vanessa and Logan are thrown together in a safe place and begin to talk about old times again. Will Vanessa be able to put her feelings for Logan behind and move on with her marriage to Ted before it is all too late?

You will not regret reading this story. I could not put it down once I started it and longed for more once I was finished. Such a great read!!

really enjoyed this second chance at love story. Logan and Vanessa were married when they were very young, and the marriage didn't work out. When they come into contact again as Vanessa plans her wedding to another man, they have to re-examine the past and where they went wrong.

This one had really good characters, an interesting storyline, and a wonderful setting! I'm looking forward to reading more by this author.
