Several years back, I read two early Korelitz novels , The Sabbathday River and A Jury of Her Peers, and enjoyed them both greatly. I do not know how this one slipped by me after requesting a digital advance reader copy— but it surfaced recently and I became immersed in another engaging story. It’s a romance with lots of comic scenes and a bit of mystery too. The characters felt real, although outside of my social status— and the travels through and about New York City kept me involved and delighted. She’s a great writer, and I think this would make a great movie too.

Another interesting novel from the author of Admission and The Devil and Webster. An interesting protagonist, and well-written interpersonal relationships. It's not the easiest of the author's novels, but it's a good read.
