A wonderful mother/daughter story that has many ups and downs but all in all the relationship will always be there.
Blueprints by Barbara Delinsky was a good summer read. It doesn't pull me to read other books by Barbara Delinsky, but it was an enjoyable read. Full of love and family values in the background of a home improvement TV show. I thought it would have been a little more about the television show and not taking place in the off season.
I have to say that I was surprised by this one. I was very intrigued by the blurb and I have to say that Barbara Delinsky did a great job with this one.
This story is about a mother and daughter that run a reality show business together of gutting house and redoing them. I loved all the characters in this story and the story line flowed really well. It is always nice to get a book that you can escape into and that is what I felt with this one. The characters were real and made you feel like part of their world while you were in this book.
I highly recommend this one! I am so glad I picked it up and read it! If you are a fan of great reads that leave you longing for more, then this is one for you! Great job Barbara Delinsky. I can't wait to see what is next for your readers!
I had every intention of reading this book and writing an honest review but it expired before I had the chance. My apologies, If you like to resend it to me I would be happy to get it reviewed,
I loved this book by Delinsky, and count it as my favorite by her now. The characters were interesting and likable, and I wanted the best for them. The tough mother-daughter relationship between Caroline and Jamie was heartbreaking at times. I found the book intensely emotional, and was surprised by where the story went. It really kept my attention and had me feeling very invested in the characters. This is one that will stay with me!
