The Light of the World by Elizabeth Alexander is just beautiful. The book tells the story of the author's deceased husband. It is so full of love and grief and happiness and resilience. It documents how one individual affected those who had the serendipity to cross his path. The celebration of his life is so very vivid, highlighting the minutiae of a person's existence. Readers will share her sense of loss and gain a fuller understanding of their relationships with the people they love. Highly recommended.
