I found the first half of "Loving Day" by Mat Johnson to be a real treat. It had some insightful moments and, at its best, had me laughing out loud. However, things took a turn after the halfway point. While the characters were still on point, the story started to meander, feeling kind of repetitive. I'm definitely a fan of Mat Johnson and will give his other books a shot, but I have to say that "Loving Day" was just okay for me.
