Loved this, as I love ancient historical fiction. I didn’t realise it was the second book in a series, but found it easy enough to follow. A lot of detail and research has gone into this and it shows!

I couldn't get into the story, I tried. I didn't leave a review because I only do so if there's something very wrong with the book, but this one was just not for me.
