Macey came home from Christmas European vacation as her boyfriend at the time didn’t want her t meet his family because she was a stripper. When she came home Macey came home to a cheating boyfriend Wesley who she had been with for one year. Wesley shattered Macey’s heart and destroyed her faith in relationships. The second thing Macey came home to was a new boss-Josua. Macey hates change. Joshua is to bring more class to the club. He wants to make The Devil’s Den in the best strip club in Texas. He’s not letting anyone stand in his way especially not his ex or a dancer .Joshua wants his own club someday. Joshua has an employees handbook and a set of strict rules. Macey doesn’t have the time or patience for Joshua's employee handbook and she breaks rules. Macey and Joshua have a strong chemistry. Macey is a strong woman and knows what she wants. Joshua finds Macey’s sarcastic wit and her feisty way refreshing. He also knows if he gets Macey to follow the rules the other girls will follow as the respect Macey. Macey didn’t have the best childhood her mother died when she was a young girl and her father abandoned her, the only thing her mother ever did was leave Macey money from his gambling winnings as he was a professional card player. Macey always had to look out for herself. Joshua doesn’t let up on his going after Macey even when she tries to push him away. Bishop is Joshua’s neighbor and longtime family enemy. Bishop is attracted to Macey and he wants to break Joshua and Macey up. Joshua's ex fiance Julie wants him back since the man she cheated on Joshua with didn’t work out for her. Then Wesley finds out how much money Macey is worth and wants her back because of the money.
I enjoyed this book. It was a fun easy romantic read with some drama thrown in with ex’s and neighbors. This grabbed my attention from the beginning and didn’t let go until the end. I advise you to read the books in this series in order for a smooth read. I didn’t like Joshua’s ex Jullie or Bishop or Wiston they were all buttholes. But I guess that's who they were supposed to be. I did like how Macey was, I really liked Macey and Joshua together and how they interacted. I like dht plot and the pace. I liked the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend it.

Never got the chance to read this because I could never download it.
