Interesting premise about how the world might end. I got disinterested about 3/4 of the way in but the ending made up for that. Gory and frightening I would recommend this novel to fans of apocalyptic horror stories.

This was a great novel by Adam Cesare. His novels and novellas are always excellent, and "Mercy House" was no exception. It was set in a senior citizen's home in which some horrific things go awry. Highly entertaining and very memorable.

I knew I would love this book when I read the premise and I was not disappointed. I was hooked after the first chapter. If you enjoy reading Brian Keene or Richard Laymon you will enjoy this book. This book was gritty, gruesome and fast paced. I loved every minute of it. After reading this book, you will definitely find yourself paying more attention to your surroundings next time you visit an elderly relative at the nursing home!
