As a Catholic, I couldn't relate to some of the experiences the author had, but I do identify with a more progressive view of Christianity and found that this did seem to pigeonhole progressive Christians into a box. While quoting Rachel Held Evans and Nadia Bolz-Weber, she makes the case that they are agnostic or non-believers. I think this could be useful for Christian families who want to promote their viewpoints, but it doesn't give a complete picture of those whose beliefs differ from the author's.

This book had some reflection and discussion of the Christianity the author believes in, as well as scriptures and creeds, followed by questions for reflection.

Interesting, but not for everyone.
