The Bookseller is a great read. Hugo Marston is the chief of security for the American Ambassador to Paris. So a reader starts out knowing the atmosphere will be tres French, and a security chief, something will soon go amiss. The death of a bookseller sets Hugo on a chase through the charming streets of Paris. It's a well-told tale with believable and likable characters.
