This book was so much more than was I was expecting when I went into it! I was pleasantly surprised with this read and I can't wait for more in this True Lies series from Veronica Forand.

Alex Nothrop is what I would call the black sheep of her family and comes from a very well known Boston family. When Alex decides to go off exploring on her own, she ends up with some of the not so good people. Her ex boyfriend, Luc, used some stolen art to fund his craziness and now he wants Alex dead because of what she knows. But if he figures out who she really is he is going to kill not only her but her whole family.

Alex ends up in someones bed and when he finds her, he knows immediately that there is something special about her. Professor Henry Chilton finds Alex in his bed one day and once he gets to know a little about her, she realizes that she has a vast knowledge of art. Alex reveals to him that one of this paintings that he has planned on selling to fund a women's shelter he has wanted to open is a fake. Henry is so impressed with Alex's knowledge of art that he knows just who to enlist to help him find the real painting- Alex!!

Will Alex be able to help Henry with getting the painting back without getting herself and Henry killed? You will have to read this one to find out. The sexual attraction between these two will leave you longing for more of them as well. Very well written and flows so easily. I can't wait for the next installment in the True Lies series!
