I got this book for my husband, who is a big Morrissey fan to read, rather than me. I like some of his music but not interested enough in the music or the man to read it myself. Here's what my husband has said about it.

Reasonably well written and easy to read but lots of personal opinions given. I prefer reporting of the facts and to be allowed to form my own opinion. Also favoured some songs over others and often too much info on the author's favoured songs and less on the not so favoured. Incredibly well researched though and documents even the miniscule details on the music side. A bit heavy going for me but would suit a truly die-hard fan.
