This was a great start to a new series. The plot was captivating and full of historical detail. It is also a present day political thriller and very well written.

It is a good story from a new author, but could have used more editing and more of the work that goes into making a good book great before it gets to print. I am not sure it is necessarily the author completely that made this difficult for me to read.

I loved the mystery woven throughout this tale, and the use of some of our beloved historical figures made for fun twists to history as we know it! This title is well written, and really makes you feel like you are journeying through history during early days of the United States.

I had not known that there would be so much historical fiction, of which I am not a fan, mixed with the modern story. It was well written but I did not complete this book. It's not my cup of tea,. Thank you.

I am not a fan of sex in books. At all. Blah. That part of the book really turned me off. The story was plausible, and the history well presented, but I wouldn't read another book by this author.

Slow read, didn't really enjoy the characters. But, it was well-written, just not a story I enjoyed.
