One of Brubaker's BEST graphic novels. I just absolutely love every noir novel he puts out. Our library has absolutely purchased this title. If you are into a great noir story with fantastic artwork, this story is for you.

The Fade Out is perfect for those who want a smart, no holds bar, piece of noir. Brubaker and Phillips cement their genius in this volume and beyond. I can't wait for the next volume in this series--it's a project that is unforgettable and filled with twists, turns, and all manner of great easter eggs about life in early Hollywood.

I REALLY love this, and it's probably my favorite series for 2015. I cannot wait to read more.

This film noir set book, looked so promising but it felt short to me. I hoped there was a little more in the first volume to keep me hooked so I don't think I will continue with the next 11 books.
I reminded me a bit of many things I've seen and I felt no connection to any of the characters.

An enjoyable read with an intriguing premise. Noir elements brought this thriller to life for me. I look forward to the follow on volumes.

I've read and reread this comic several times by now and love it more each time.
