Alexandra Hawkins in back with a vengeance with the first book in her newest series the Masters of Seduction, A Duke But No Gentleman. The reigning authority of irresistible Regency rogues Ms. Hawkins has set the mark high for the books to follow in this Georgian precursor to her next series. A hero to die for coupled with a fetching heroine steam up the pages of this story of love and betrayal. This author adroitly handles villainy and brutality in this work while still being able to show resilience, redemption and justice. This is not an emotionally easy read but one that is well written and a tale that deserves to be read.
