Clara's story continues, as a weekend in Copperhead turns sideways with a bad date, outlaws, and a desert chase.
All she wanted was a drink, but all she gets in this town is trouble. We learn more about Boo, and also the bigger plot that this tale is going to encompass. This story continues to be amazing--and I don't know which is more compelling--the writing, the art, the lettering or the coloring. It's a seriously great book.
While most found this to be slower than the first, I think it's got some necessary world building mechanics that help drive the next volume even further. Essential reading!
