Thanks for allowing me an ARC to read and give my honest opinion.

Interesting new concept and unique idea. Dierdre Tombs dies an comes back to life as a shapeshifter that can't shift. An omega. Two rival Alpha's are competing for top Alpha. Dierdre is such a mouthful, I'm actually daunted the entire novel used her full name. Instead she f something cute like Dee. Kylie is the Alpha who generated Genesis, the death and rebirth of shapeshifters. Omegas like Dierdre are in government housing on government rations, kind of like a welfare system. Kylie asks Dierdre to go after Stark the other Alpha and collect intel. She sends one of her shifters with Dierdre which she later has an affinity for. Cage is also a werebear. Stark can control other shifters just by his voice but his voice has no impact on the omega. She can resist his power.
I found this to be an intense read and overall unique idea. Four stars of entertainment!
