I don't usually read westerns, but the storytelling in this one hooked me and I am looking forward to reading the sequel.

The book did not really work for me. I DNF'ed it. I wasn’t able to connect with any of the many characters in the book and I found myself putting down the book a lot because it was never really catching my attention.

First of all, the book cover is so pretty!!! It's impossible for me not to have it in my collection. Anyways, I enjoyed reading Vengeance Road, the story was great enough for me to finish it in less than 3days.

Another hugely hyped American YA release that just doesn't cut it. The 'wild west' setting was interesting, but I just couldn't get into the writing style and found my attention drifting repeatedly. The comparisons to True Grit fall way flat here.

I lost interest in this book and did not read it so I cannot write a review.
