It comes as no surprise to my readers that Anne Gracie is one of my favorite authors. Her historical romances are filled with emotion and humor, making them real and relatable to me.


I am allowed to live the romance of her characters and I feel that the time spent with these characters is well worth my time.

This series is really well written and this story in particular was well plotted and executed. The characters of Jane and Zach felt very real because we were privy to their point of views and their progression in growth and understanding of each other and themselves.

As the third of four books in the series I have to say that I love it equally and although you don’t need to read them in order, I would urge you to do so because you’ll get so much more out of the dynamic of the sisters, their lives before and after they are rescued by their benefactress.

If you’ve never read Anne Gracie, you may as well start with this story. It has everything a romance should, interesting and heartwarming characters, fast moving plot and plenty of witty dialogue.
