ONE NIGHT WITH A BILLIONAIRE is Cade and Kylie's story but also Cade and Daphne's. Their lives are intertwined more than they want them to be and there are sparks flying on many different fronts but Clare only scratches the surface of the characters. We are reunited with the Billionaire Boys Club and their women but they don't play a significant role in this story.


Clare's ONE NIGHT WITH A BILLIONAIRE is an enjoyable and quick read that is once again hot, steamy and very spicy. The music scene and all that goes with it are at its core - concert tours, the entourage of people that travel with the musician, the music and the record labels, contracts, groupies, drugs and alcohol. For many, Daphne is their source of income so they tolerate her, her rudeness and her actions because they work for her and she's the music star. Kylie is the scapegoat for many but since she doesn't want to be a burden to anyone like she was as a child she tries not to make waves and to be invisible at times. Cade and she hit it off immediately at their chance meeting at a coffee shop but when they meet up again and again the sparks fly and the sheets burn up. Watching them sneak around to meet was heartbreaking most of the time and Daphne's reaction to their relationship is her ultimate downward spiral. There are family, friends, money troubles, lots of drug, alcohol and bad behaviors, concern, fear, angst, romance and love. It was fun to watch Kylie's reaction to Cade's money and his reaction to how she felt about it. There are several happily ever afters in the offing and the epilogue helped give closure and tie up loose ends.

This is the sixth book in the BILLIONAIRE BOYS CLUB SERIES and I look forward to reading books three and four, THE WRONG BILLIONAIRE'S BED and ONCE UPON A BILLIONAIRE respectively, which I somehow missed along the way. I've already read books one, two and five in the series, STRANDED WITH A BILLIONAIRE, BEAUTY AND THE BILLIONAIRE and ROMANCING THE BILLIONAIRE. I look forward to reading all the books in this series as well as other books Clare's written.
