The author’s writing was outstanding, however there were moments while reading that I thought there must have been an earlier book which I was unaware of. Upon researching I discovered that April Snow is book 2 in the Dana McGarry Series by this author. Maybe this is why I couldn’t connect with the characters like l should have.
