Thanks for the arc, I realized I didn't review this one at the time. Won't be leaving a social media review now per didn't finish.

Sweet romance about the sweet hometown girl bouncing back.
Katie wishes nothing more that to get married to her sweetheart and to live with him in their Southern small city. She loves all things her wedding so much, that - sure her honey is going to propose soon anyway - she enters the bridal magazine essay contest with the possibility to win the unique custom-made wedding dress. And she wins. And the guy dumps her.
So travelling in person to the bridal shop in Dallas seems the only polite way to tell them she was not able to accept the win. And it might just be the journey to turn the events the unexpected way.
This might be a bit simple story, but one of the sweetest I have ever read. Yes, no Doystoyevsky - but I can forgive that because no peaches, no apple pie is as sweet as Katie and her family and friends. And I am not the one who loves her stories to be full of sugar! So take it on a good authority when I say this honey is worth of your evening of relax. Make yourself a cream coconut pie, take a glass of sweetened tea and go read. I am off to the second volume already.
