This was my first Ryan Holiday so I was not familiar with his previous works - neither style nor topic. That said, I found this book enjoyable and very readable. I enjoyed the stories and historical anecdotes. There’s actionable advice and the overlay off philosophy worked well.

My husband has all of Ryan's books, and when I saw this was the last in the series, I knew I needed to check it out. The writing is excellent, and the topic is interesting. I will gift this book to him and many family members who find stoicism fascinating. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

Will there be an end to Mr. Holiday and his creative approaches to giving us ideas for solutions to human problems? I don't think so. Thank God.
