Kat Reid is a makeup artist in LA whose success lands her on the set of a music video for rock band Bad Habit. She is set up to get the lead singer's model girlfriend ready for her role in the video, when she realizes that she is either high or drunk and unable to perform. Enter Nico Nyx, the hot lead singer of Bad Habit, who Kat immediately feels drawn to. Nico whisks his model girlfriend away to sleep it off, while telling Kat that he needs her to step into the role of video vixen. The chemistry is off the charts between them, but Kat struggles with the pull between them and Nico's sincerity.

This was a great book with a steady plot twist that kept me engaged. I'm excited to read the next one in this series.

Bottom line? Read it at your own risk. On the one hand, you'll definitely get nonstop drama, insta-love/connection between the MCs and some really hot action. On the other, the jokes might be too much and bordering on offensive and will probably make you rage. I know my review doesn't help at all but I have no idea what to say really, so I'll leave it at that.
