A romantic mystery where Val Montague has to return to her childhood town to settle her mum’s estate. She’s a bit suspicious and the mystery element of the book kicks in along with an element of danger. The two main characters are well drawn and believable. There are plot turns that have you wondering where we will be taken next. Overall I enjoyed the read- but it didn’t really grab me.
