An enjoyable read into the mystery of sourdough with clear guidance. Recipes range from simple to complex but having tried a couple they are worth the effort ..a good addition to a growing library

The cover alone makes my mouth start to water. Sourdough had always eluded me; I could never get the recipe right, and I started to think I'd never make a good loaf. This book gave some great tips on making rustic style breads and other baked items. I'm slightly upset that so many ingredients listed need to be searched for in stores, and that some recipes were very time-intensive. Gorgeous pictures, but not my kind of cook book.
