Being set apart from the world is a goal of mine. I like that God has called me to live by His standards rather than the ones I see in the world around me. Set Apart by Jessica LaGrone highlights a few different ways in which to be set apart for God. She pulled examples straight from the Word and further supported her points with personal anecdotes.

One thing that knocked my rating down was that the author seemed to flaunt her position as a pastor with tales of her seminary and pulpit experiences, but then she spoke of being humble. This seemed contradictory to me.
