Thrilling and vibrant, the second volume of Sebastien de Castell's Greatcoats series loses none of the humor or humanity which made the first volume so engaging.

A good, but not rousingly so, follow-up the the excellent Traitor's Blade. Girl, EVERYONE gets on your damn nerves in this; and also stop describing a 13 year old girl like a goddamn toddler, Mr. de Castell, it's annoying and makes me think you've never seen a preteen before. This read as too long by about a quarter, with some pretty obvious twists, and a resolution that was telegraphed about 25 pages in. Anyhoo, I don't think I'll finish out the series as this book took me legitimately 4 years to complete.
