I loved this book- Lady Juliet was just in such a large pickle, it was unbelievable and Amiable, Captain Dawson is at the right place at the right time, and comes to her rescue. She was falsely supposedly married by proxy to Viscount from France, and a horrible person. Her brother withdrew the proxy. But St, Cyn 'decided to pick up his bride in England, with her brother in Italy, She needed to hide from this dreadful man. Captain Dawson was just in the right place at the right time and escorted to her to her family's estate. At least that was the plan, but then Juliet had attempts of seducing him, she fell in love with him on the way. They end up getting married, until, her brother appears wondering what in gods name is going on. After going to London, St Cyn. reappears trying to get Juliet back who is expecting!
I loved both the characters but Amiable was just perfect, honorable and the perfect gentleman, the book lacks nothing, its exciting and romantic. My first book by Jenna Jaxon and I definitely will be looking forward to more books by her.
