These were such great reads! I loved the first book, but never managed to continue on, so I made it a priority in May, and I've read them, and I loved them! I just love the worlds that Megan Crewe creates, and these were such great stories!
The first book really set up this world, and these characters and the stakes, pretty well, so we pretty much able to jump right into things with these books. Of course there were new environments to explore, new characters to meet, but the stage had been set to lay more details onto it.
The Clouded Sky took place on Kemya, which was really interesting, given all that happened in the first book. That she's dealing with the rebels but there's very much a trust disconnect as well as a general ill feeling towards Earthlings, yeah, I was rooting for them! But oh, how things ended, well, that was pretty explosive!
Well, it was good that I was able to just go straight into A Sky Unbroken! Which was so fantastic, that we got both Skylar and Win's perspective in this book, which I really enjoyed and was really well done, and we got to see a wider view of what was going on. I raged on behalf of these characters at the unfairness, and I really enjoyed how it all resolved!
Loved reading these books and I can't wait to read more by Megan Crewe!

Unfortunately, after reading the first book I was spoiled for the rest of this book and it honestly irritated me and I won't be finishing.
A nice, quick, easy and entertaining read that will satisfy plenty of YA sci fi fans. I preferred Crewe's first book, but this was still enjoyable.
The story picks up almost immediately after the ending of Earth and Sky. A mystery novel set in space. After residing with rebels in space, the police of the series, the Enforcers, are after Skylar and her group of alien friends. When someone leaks information to the Enforcers, Skylar is tasked to find out who that is. If you are a sci-fi fan, I strongly recommend The Clouded Sky to you. It is filled with mystery and an all-new alien planet.
I like Sky’s character and how smart she is. The enforcers and control of Earth really push her to find her place and decide who she can trust. Win and Jule add to the story of friendship development and I really enjoy this series. This is a very Sci Fi style book if that’s your genre.
This is the second installment in the Earth and Sky trilogy, The Clouded Sky was awesome and was what I needed it to be. It picks off right where Earth and Sky left off. This book gives much more character development of our main character and of the side characters in the story. It takes place basically in the alien world of Kemya rather than Earth. I thought this was awesome and we got to see the alien world. This second book is basically an adventure/mystery novel, with rebels, aliens who hate humans, sabotage and a traitor that we are left guessing about. For the entire novel I could NOT stop thinking about who the traitor was. I was kept on a leash until the very end and when I finally found out I was shocked.
The other elements in this book's were good too. I was grateful that this book made up for the lack of character development in the first book and I'm so excited where Megan Crewe will take the third book! There was not much action in this novel, but the mystery made up for the action and I was glad to see some romance coming into this novel!
Overall, a fantastic and enjoyable read about aliens and mystery and rebellion and traitors.
