Marquita Valentine delivers with the sass, spice, heat and all the feels. Very enjoyable and I would recommend!

I don't know why I requested this one as I don't normally enjoy small town romance vibes. Not enough danger, action, or passion for me.

This is the first book in the Take the Fall series by Marquita Valentine. This story focuses on Roman and Seth, but we also get to meet Piper and Jase. The prologue to this story catches you by the heart strings and pulls you in for sure. I felt sorry for Seth and Roman as well as her brother Jase.

Rowan is a strong independent woman that has made a good life for herself. I love how the author gave each character a strong personality that we get to meet. I also loved the dual POV and believe that is what helped the story come together so well. Rowan and Seth have a past and now that Seth is grown up, he is asking Rowan to forgive him and give him another chance.

Seth is a marine. Who doesn't love a military guy in a romance novel right? Seth is a helicopter crew chief pilot and something about that just seems to make him that much better. He is strong and determined as well. Seth has done a lot of growing up since he has seen Rowan and not it is time to prove it to her.

Will these two be able to overcome their past and make a new future for themselves? You will want to read this one to find out. I promise you won't regret it! Great job Marquita Valentine on the start of a great series!
