The daily readings are very brief; however, the author has taken the time to add some additional thoughts as well as Bible verses to look up for more in depth reading. It was a nice, quick way to spend some time in proverbs every day for about three months.

My favorite devotionals add some stories of how the author, or other people, have dealt with circumstances in their lives. This does not give you that personal touch, but since it is exactly what it promises to be, I am giving it 5 stars.

Proverbs is one of my favorites so it was good to have these to go through it. It was good that varied translations of the Bible were used because some are harder to understand than others.

The daily reviews provide a section of scripture and a short story to relate the ideas of the scriptures. It is useful for anyone needing guidance through the scriptures and to create that habit of doing devotions.
