This is a very quick, light HR read that outlines the abilities of writer Jess Michales. I’m a huge fan, namely because she packs a punch in the steamy arena. While this book has its share of steam, it lacks a bit of what I’ve come to expect from the author. The characters are well developed and the action is good, but perhaps it’s just a bit too short? Additional detail, along with character and relationship building would have bumped this up to 5 stars, without a doubt.
