The Super-Deluxe, Epic Journal of Awesomeness is a fun activity book for kids that like to draw and want to flex their imagination. It is sixty pages of creative writing and drawing prompts. While there are several activity books like this one already out on the market, this one has some very original (and occasionally borderline weird) prompts. For example, one of the prompts is to "Eat colored candy and lick the page after" which as an adult I find kind of gross, but I can see kids loving that.
My only criticism of this book is that it isn't really a journal (more an activity book) and it is very drawing-intensive. As someone who doesn't love to draw, I would have preferred to have more of a balance, with more non-drawing activities mixed into the drawing activities. That being said, I think this book will greatly spark the creativity of most kids who pick it up.
