Classic historical romance. Rupert and Vivian were well matched and their romance sweet. The storyline was a bit boring, but the writing is good. I definitely felt that I should have read the others in this series before reading this, however.

I usually enjoy Ella Quinn, but some of the plot devices in the main Rupert/Vivian story one didn’t work for me. I don’t want to give anything away, but Vivian was just too naive to be true. I did like the Nick and Sophie secondary story, though. I wish they had been the main deal!
